KAVASS
Kavass is a Peruvian craft beer brand rooted in the Huacho coast, created for people who value distinctive beer experiences beyond mass production.
The brand is built around Kavass, an expert mystical brewer from the Huachana coast, known for creating magical brews for the most demanding palates. Her story connects craft beer with mythology, local identity, and a strong sense of character. She worships Ninkasi, the ancient goddess of beer, and even names her black cat after the deity.
The idea was to transform craft brewing into an experience filled with flavor, mystery, and personality—celebrating Peruvian coastal roots while inviting consumers to “discover the magic in every sip.”
THE WORK
We developed Kavass’s naming and brand identity around its mystical universe, creating a visual and verbal system that communicates authenticity, innovation, quality, and passion for craft beer.
The identity highlights beers made with natural, local ingredients while giving Kavass a distinctive personality. The system extends across the logo, typography, colors, graphic elements, iconography, facade, glassware, and social media.
The result is a flexible identity that supports a growing variety of flavors and aromas while staying connected to its origins and handcrafted character.

Vivid green, purple, lavender, yellow, cream, and orange reinforce its unconventional personality. Poppins Bold leads titles, Nexa supports paragraphs, and the logo has its own dedicated type style.
Together, the character, mythology, bold colors, and graphic language create a recognizable world around the ritual and enjoyment of craft beer.
